As a math teacher, I think using "Inspiration" along with many other methods of teaching can only benefit my students. Using various methods will assist me in helping students with different learning capabilities. Such as: those who learn best in a hands-on environment, those who are visual learners, those who learn best in a group setting or those who succeed working independently. I see that "Inspiration" is a teaching tool that can be used in any of these situtations. In addition, using "Inspiration" breaks away from the tedious, day-to-day lecturing. In my field of Algebra, "Inspiration" could definitely break down formulas, theories and functions, then relate them to equations . . . what a concept!
In my Algebra classroom, the primary writing activity is focused on writing formulas, theories, functions and equations . . . focusing on numbers and calculations. There are most definitly multiple revisions used, but in Algebra this is called . . . an eraser!!! Now as far as how students can help each other; working with other students in Algebra is an absolute (for the most part), basically just because for the average student, Algebra can be mind boggling and any additional input a student can receive, can only be advantageous. Technology tools can be used to support peer feedback in the aspect that you are part of a specific teaching department . . . my Algebra classroom is part of Math department. Therefore, you can interact (share) with others in your department for assistance, support, ideas, problems, solutions, etc.
